Red Jasper is a deeply grounding stone that is known for its connection with the element of Earth. It is a stone for focus and strength, and can be very useful during times of emotional upheaval. Use of this stone in meditation can help remove stagnant energy from the heart, solar, and sacral chakras.
It is noted that it assists the Zodiac signs of Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio. It is also the birthstone of Aries.
